BRIDGWATER CZECH SLOVAK FRIENDSHIP SOCIETY TREASURER IS CANDIDATE IN NEXT WEEKS ELECTION


Bridgwater Czech-Slovak Friendship Society Treasurer,Kathy Pearce, a Sedgemoor District Councillor for the Hamp ward in Bridgwater, is one of the candidates in next weeks General Election.


Kathy, who has been a solid supporter of International links in the town, has home hosted many visiting students, helped to organise our programme and has often driven the minibus for us.


Kathy is standing for the Labour Party-which is currently in second place to the Conservatives in the Bridgwater and West Somerset Constituency which stretches from the Polden Hills Westwards through Bridgwater to Minhead and over Exmoor right to the Devon border.


The other candidates are Ian Liddel-Grainger (Con), Theo Butt-Philip (lib Dem) Charlie Graham (Green) Bob Cudlipp (Ind) Peter Hollidge (UKIP) and Donna Treanor (BNP).


The election will be held on Thursday May 6th.
