FIRST SLOVENIAN SCHOOL TO VISIT SOMERSET

Bridgwater International is bracing itself for the first visit to Somerset by students from the former Yugoslav Republic of Slovenia.

Following on from the 2nd annual visit to the small Alpine country with an Adriatic coastline smaller than Somersets (Somerset has NO Adriatic coastline..) by the Richard Huish College in Taunton a group of 28 Slovenian students from the port town of Koper (Capodistria) will be in the county from 14th to 19th April.

The highlight of the visit will be a Slovenian theme to our next INTERNATIONAL NIGHT which will be held at the Bridgwater Unity Club on Friday 16th April at 8pm. Live music will include Portuguese reggae from Herb'an Music and the amazingly talented Somerset singer Sam Redington. Their will be Slovenian food available and a sound system that promises to include at least some Balkan music amongst the Internationalist and homegrown mix.

EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO ATTEND.
